How do online ads know where I live?
Wednesday, January 20th, 2010Is it from my IP, a cookie or some other tracking method to get my zip code? It really annoys me and I am wondering how to prevent it, especially because it is usually only seen in ads from sleazy advertisers.
I wouldnt think my IP address would be specific enough.
